Story Line: This story begins in a small village in the south of France. This early Friday morning all the girls attending Ecole du Bouscant were just beginning petite dejuener. Just about everyone has returned from their morning regime except for Mademoiselle Chantal Dubois. Mme. Dubois was pretty, smart and quite spoiled. She was on the Bouscant Equestrian Team. The rest of her fellow teammates have already finished their morning riding practice and were soon going to meet at breakfast.
At first no one was concerned that she had not arrived already. Someone spoke up to announce that Mme. Chantal is once again late. A man on the staff was sent to retrieve her. He arrived at the stables and noticed a horse standing in the practice ring. As he got a closer he realized a girl’s body was there on the ground. When he got closer he found Mme. Chantal‘s broken body lying a few feet in front of a jump, her neck and upper body twisted. Her horse was nearby, unharmed.
The man covered her with his jacket. Mother Superior was immediately notified of the accident. She called the girl’s family and the police before alarming any of the girls attending the school. The Ecole du Bouscant boarding school is located just above Monaco. This news will upset everyone and could destroy the school’s impressive reputation. Both Princesses Caroline and Stephanie once attended here a few years ago. After the news broke, no one expected it to be anything other than a tragic riding accident. It was later discovered that the saddle girth could have been tampered with. Did someone here at this school hate Mme. Chantal enough to kill her? Was it one of the girls on her equestrian team, or just one of many girls at the school who were treated badly by Mme. Chantal?
This weekend the Inspector will be asking these same questions. Was this an accident? Did someone really plan and execute a murder, or was this just someone’s uncontrollable jealously?
Murder Mystery participants are:
Josephine Black hair and dark green eyes. She has a model-like figure and can wear anything. Boys adore her, which makes her the envy of some girls but not her close friends. She wears a white blouse, scarf and riding clothes.
Bridgette Curly blond hair and hazel eyes. She is quite petite but makes up for it in her quick temper. She wears a skirt and blouse or riding clothes and never forgets her gold charm bracelet given to her by her grandmother.
Noelle Wavy chestnut brown hair and green eyes. She is tiny in size but has a great big heart. She is mostly seen in her riding clothes but always wearing her pearls.
Dominique Sleek black hair and brown eyes. She is witty and is valedictorian of her school. Always wears anything in black and lots of gold jewelry.
Yvette Long silky blond hair, clear blue eyes and truly sweet. She prefers to sun at the beach with the boys than to attend class. She always wears something yummy when not in class or in the practice ring.
Monique Short curly hair and blue eyes. Bubbly personality and loves children. She wears a plaid skirt and oxford blouse she bought in England.
Nicole Raven black hair, hazel eyes and a smile that lights up a room. But don’t let her smile fool you, she can be a little tiger when she wants to be. She often wore a skirt and blouse but preferred to wear slacks and a sweater.
Antoinette Rusty colored red hair and olive skin. She is kind but very competitive in the ring. This is where she reigns queen. She mostly wears riding attire or just the breeches with an oxford style shirt and sweater/ jacket.

comes from old money. She is spoiled so this makes her
demanding, opinionated and basically a thorn in everyone’s side. She dresses
stylish but with old family jewelry.
Additional Character Information:
Josephine Madeline Josephine Jonquet was born in Nimes and later moved to Nice, close to the beach. Swimming everyday gave her a great figure. She once told her parents she wanted to be a fashion model and live in Paris someday. Josephine is quite headstrong and usually gets her way.
Bridgette Bridgette Danielle Dupere was born in Cannes on a horseracing farm that has been in her family for five generations. Bridgette’s father put her on a horse at the young age of three. She has been riding horses ever since. Bridgette will carry on her family’s legacy someday.
Noelle Noelle Angelique Beaulieu was born in the small coastal town of Beaulieu, which was founded by her ancestors. Since most of the town is now so popular with the tourists, Noelle usually spends her holidays in Monte Carlo with her grandmother. They usually go antique shopping.
Dominique Dominique Bordeaux was born at the Chateau du Bordeaux, the family vineyard. Dominique has no interest in the family business but would love to attend the prestigious Bozart School of Design in Paris.
Yvette Yvette Chevalier was born in Cannes. When she was six years old her grandfather Maurice Chevalier took her to the beach for the first time. She was so cute; she asked why her little bathing suit didn’t have a top like the big girls. Now all grown up, she either swims or sunbathes nude.
Monique Monique Auzeby was born in Nimes. When she and her sister Nicole were small, their favorite pastime was spending the day at the park with their father, feeding the pigeons. Monique was always making the other children at the park laugh.
Nicole Nicole Auzeby was born in Nimes like her sister Monique. One day at a very early age, a lady told Nicole she had such a pretty smile. After that she smiled at everyone. Today she still has that great smile but when she is pushed too far she also has a temper that matches it.
Antoinette Antoinette Lenoir was born in Juan Les Pins, loves horses, and intends to have her own riding stables all across France to teach young children how to ride and compete in the ring. She was in her first competition at six.

Dr. Latour Dr. Antoinette Latour, M.D. was born in Menton. She and her husband Dr. Robere Latour are both medical examiners in Menton. Besides a little golf and tennis enjoyed from time to time, Antoinette can mostly be seen on the ski slopes.

Madame Yvonne Christoffe born in Monaco into a family of heart surgeons and a
cousin to Prince Rainer of Monaco. She is the
mother
and grandmother of Suzanne Dubois and Chantal Dubois.
Madame Dubois Madame Suzanne Dubois born in Monaco, she is a retired heart surgeon who now devotes her time to her family and favorite charities.
